Feb 2015 to June 2018 - Freelance PA/ Social Media Manager, London/ International

I currently work as part-time PA to Jamie & Gala Wright, children of Rick Wright of Pink Floyd. I work with them closely on everything from office management and com- pany admin to more personal PA responsibilities, such as property maintenance and renovation, business and personal travel needs, utilities, gift buying and much more. I am also currently overseeing the creation of a new website for Richard Wright’s legacy and was thrilled to be creatively and logistically involved with the ‘Pink Floyd: Their Mortal Remains’ exhibition at the V&A in 2017.

For 19 months I was PA to international fine artist Hanan Bahamdan, a highly acclaimed female Saudi painter who splits her time between Riyadh and London and exhibits internationally. She has sold work at Sotheby’s and sits on a number of charita- ble boards. I help her both professionally and in her personal/ family life. Recent work has included finding and setting up a studio space, setting up a website, complex medical management for her and her children, international travel, a high budget flat renovation project and personal shopping for extended family, as well as compiling a printed edition of her artistic works.

I also run social media for global star Mika including website, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LINE and large database.

Since I left Machine Management I have also worked as Mika’s tour management, travelling when necessary and overseeing all his personal and family travel arrangements, accommodation and everyday needs. I also oversaw all press and promotion, co-ordinat- ing with management, meeting VIP and media guests and running aftershow events. The role was all encompassing and changed daily.

Aug 2005 to Feb 2015 - Talent Manager/ PA, Machine Management, London

Machine is a music management and consultancy company with a record label and events arm, grown from 1-7 staff since employment.

Responsible for the co-ordination and management of numerous complex diaries, tracking ex- penses and budgeting, booking and overseeing all appointments and travel, then communicat- ing information and arrangements across international teams and individuals, with different lev- els of discretion.

Directly accountable for internationally successful artists, coordinating meetings and managing their professional lives and personal wellbeing across multiple time zones. Pre-empting needs of artists so stress at minimum and life as seamless as possible.

Coordinating a diverse range of events, providing creative direction, managing budgets, guest lists, security, publicity and more – including launch parties, large private dinners, fanclub events, press junkets and more.

Being right hand to talent, both in London and on the road – travelling weekly for 4 months with Mika to Milan and Paris when he is a series judge on both XFactor Italia and The Voice France. Vast experience of working across publicity photo and video shoots as well as TV shows inter- nationally (including XFactor, The Voice, Jools Holland, Strictly Come Dancing and many more). Responsible for the recruitment and selection of suitably qualified interns and assistants, equip- ping them with the knowledge to conduct their assigned posts to a high standard.

May 2014 to Summer 2016 - General assistant, Cocoa Hernando, London

Cocoa Hernando was a small London based company making luxury flavoured chocolate inspired by the owner's travels around the world.

I started as assistant for practical help selling bars and making milkshakes on the stall at a small market in the old Selfridges Hotel. I was solely responsible for the stall whilst the director presented his brand to food panels and press and learnt a great deal about the workings of a small food business.

As the brand grew, I became the regular go-to person for all food stalls and events, including The Real Food Market at the Southbank Centre, private event at Hoxton Hotel for the Philanthropy Club and then weekly at the food section of Sunday Upmarket on Brick Lane. I learnt a lot about how food markets are run, the marketing and coordination.

Key Achievements

➢  Creating and implementing a programme of music events for the Club at The Ivy, from booking of acts to event management and publicity. The largest headliner I secured was Sam Smith at the time of his number 1 single with Naughty Boy.

➢  Played a leading role in the creation, release and promotional success of internationally ac- claimed records including Mika, Goldfrapp and others.

➢  Playing a pivotal role in the production and growth of Mika’s Social Networking sites, most notably Facebook with the addition of over 1 million ‘likes’ without an album release, now at almost 3 million.

➢ Setting up new art company Thick & Thin, coordinating and co-producing a large art show, working in close collaboration with 3 hotly tipped artists using over 50 original works at Mother in Shoreditch, achieving publication and sale of a significant proportion of the work.

➢ Producing and staging a 3-week photography show at 2 Floors bar in Soho.
